FFK (เฟย์ ฟาง แก้ว) is a Thai-pop trio consisting of Faye, Fang and Kaew formed in 2007.

In 2007, FFK released their debut single "Na Krub". Since then, they have been releasing a string of hits songs that have topped the Thai charts. To date they have four albums released namely, FFK (2007), Miz u 2 (2008), POPparazzi (2009) and Ladies & Gentleman (2010). They also had their first major concert, last December 18, 2010at the Centralworld. Read debutante ball here.

I've never blogged this much when I was in K-pop.There's something about Thai-pop that inspires me a lot. Anyway, I am trying to create pimp posts for all the artist I religiously follow.. This time for FFK.

Faye Fang Kaew is the first girl group under KZ that I LOVED. I was introduced to this group because of my deep fascination with K-otic. I was google-ing videos when I saw Baby Boy feat. Koen, I fell in love with them specially with Kaew. Her androgenous image was different from that of the typical idol.  I was so into them that I kept pestering my friends to listen to FFK. 

Anyway I'll try to add more infos and trivias. You see, its really hard to make pimp post because i don't read nor understand thai. I do it the old fashion way, searching the web. Hopefully, there will be a day where it will be as readily available to international fans like me.

Neko Jump & Four Mod - Medley Duo Show (Kamikaze Wave Concert 2010)

Basically, I have not pimped any "girl group" never planned to but this might be the right time to start. I was watching Daddy Duo and realized how pretty Four is. So, now im practially partial to fourmod now. Believe me, im not a fan. The only girl group I like under kamikze is FFK and Neko jump.

Neko Jump's music might be that of what I detest but since they look like idol cosplayers. I grew to like them. I love cosplaying. Im a certified otaku, i've costripped a thousand time already. Been to all otako and copslay convention.

As for fourmod, the only music I heard of them is love villa. You know why right? I have no intention of listening to them after hearing that. It tells me so much of what to expect, but since four took my attention.. i'll give them a try.

Actually, I am still not a die - hard fan. I ONLY started to notice their potential and felt among the pop groups in Thailand they stood a chance against K-OTIC ( even if they are under one company )

My deciding factor was when they released their new single -- the one you love. At the same time, Yoshi had change his hair to platinum blond ( i was yoshi-hooked). 

The previous album w/c was titled Hybrid was OK by my book, Its a cross between 2pm + GDragon. They even adopted a new boy band-ish inspired image. I admit, they were somewhat HOT! ( but after seeing  groupswith the same strategy -- it didn't give me anything to look forward to until now)

The new single is way way better in terms of style. I guess, I like it when a group develop their own trademark. HAHA!  plus, they are super cute with those girly moves and yet remain hot. ^_^

Yay, a super human PIMP POST.  My gift for KOTIC for the upcoming REAL TIME CONCERT.

Its still on the works though, i still have to add the gazellion pictures.

Jongbae

I've done a PIMP POST prior to this one, it just didn't capture the reason why i love K-OTIC.

They are just so effin' FAILTASTIC and ADORKABLE in so many levels. They have an innate charm bound to trap you, until you've fully succumb to the AMAZING-ness called KOTIC. I blame them, I forgo the plans to Korea and shifted to THAILAND. (just so i can stalk and camp out at RS)

In retrospect they aren't up to par with the standards I've set on my boy groups not so much lip syncing , pelvic hip thrust - power dancing and the level of bromance.. LOLZ. They seriously need to work on their public displays of gay affection more. HAHAHAHA

But the Love triangle between Kenta ,  Toilet and Koen PWNS all my other OTPs.

Actually, truth be told. I just recently realized this. I have not paid attention to MONKEY BOY at all. My friend ( alessa ) was right, He sounds at times desperate for koen's attention. Well, Gifted Prostitute is an attention whore what do you expect. ^___^

Because BECK deserves a post and Im a professional bum majoring in fangirling with nothing better to do than write fan girl rants, that i doubt people even bother to read. LOL

BECK was shown in Japan a few months back. It was only yesterday that i was able to see it. XD



Synopsis:

Maho Minami (Shiori Kutsuna) returns to Japan after studying in New York. Her half brother Ryusuke Minami (Hiro Mizushima) is an ultra talented guitarist. Maho & Ryosuke then meet Koyuki (Takeru Sato ), a fellow young teen whom Maho takes interest in. Soon enough, Ryosuke and Koyuki form a 5 piece rock band named "Beck," while Maho and Koyuki become involved in a romantic relationship.

The band starts to play live shows and grow an enthusiastic following. The release of their debut CD helps to further the band's popularity. People start to notice Koyuki. The band then endures a producer's planned conspiracy and other hardships. Beck then receives an offer to play at a rock festival, but with the unusual stipulation that the band may have to dissolve ...

WHY DO I LOVE BECK? (I'll give you 4 reasons to why)

B - Butlers galore. Connection with the film NONE.  It just so happens that iI have a "thing" for butlers, so evidently the first thing I noticed is that 3 of the main character in this movie have played butlers. HAHA. [ Mei-chan no Shitsuji  -- Hiro Mizushima  Osamu Mukai, Takeru Sato]

E - Everything revolves around Yuta Furukawa, not the movie but my world. HAHA. Have you seen how HOT he is? The first time I found out who he was --- OMG *fangirl-went-crazy-mode*

I haven't seen much of his work, like movies and such so I was pretty happy about him being here. He plays the antagonist, with his oh so devil-ish charater that you'll love to hate but can't.

C - Coz Osamu Mukai is the SHIRTLESS, BLONDE BASS PLAYING UNDER THE RAIN.

We've established the perviness in me. So its not a shock that I "Daichi" went gaga with this idea. Seriously, he doesn't have the "abs" but but im really easily persuadable with SKIN. Plus, have I mentioned he plays the base under the rain. @_______@

K - OK. Hiro Mizushima and his English dialogs are way toooo much for me. Iwas HOLY EFFIN SHYEEET amazed. Very few people can pull it of without looking awkward, and dude he looks so HOT. 70% of his lines are in english 15% of it has cursing.

He totally deserves to my utmost respect. I wont be surprise if he gets casted in an international film. HAHA.

The ONLY thing that pisses me about  the film is the "MUTE VOICE"  So the director want us to imagine the EPIC MUSIC AND VOICE of KOYUKI. Why didn't they dub it or just find an artist who sings?? I mean, it was really irritating. You'll only hear the background strings and drums.

We were talking about Mario Maurer and a the movie. crazy thing called love apparently he has been listening to thai pop. Being the newbie, he recommended K-OTIC. His words "Mas matanda pa sila [XIS] plus naghuhudan yan"  We've already established the perv in me.

I went and googled the video.

*viola* this was the first video i've seen. Asian Cuties + Shower + Skin = a very happy fangirl who fell in love with TOMO at first sight.

SO WHO THE HELL IS K-OTIC?

 
K-Otic,(เค-โอติค) is a Thai-pop boy band consisting of five members, one of which is Thai-Japanese mixed, one is Japanese, another one is Korean and rest Thai. Their songs are mostly in Thai but the raps are in either Korean, Japanese or English.

How did he end up in Thailand? He was scouted through a talent search. Like how SM ENT. does world wide talent searches =)

My thoughts:  He was the first one i remembered from the group, because he wears glasses all the time.

My thoughts:  It took me a while before I figure out who kenta was, for some weird reason. The only thing I recall was he loves to wear the "K" necklace. Reminds me so much of dream high. HAHAHA

As for singing, well.. he raps in Japanese together with tomo. If you hear the rap clearly then that would be him. Tomo's voice is softer and lower than him.

How did he end up in K-OTIC? Him and Koen joined the same company. CSI something like that.

My thoughts:  Poppy looks young and cute. He had his awkward phase where his hair was permed. I believe he comes from a well off family, {because im a stalker} i saw a clip in youtube.

As for singing he sings most of the parts *cough* 70% @_@. He has the best voice among the group.

My thoughts:  Tomo was the first person i noticed. Blame it with my Anime // Jap fixation. He's pure Japanese, but his step dad is Thai. He loves to dance and is the best dancer among the group. He's english is pretty damn good. During interviews in english only him and koen will be the ones answering.Also he is rather vain. He loves camwhore emo shots. I guess he found his niche, apparently he wasn't that good looking before -- he was cubby thus the speculation of plastic surgery @@

For singing, well he sings the English and jJap parts.

My thoughts:  I'd never thought that I would come to like koen. He reminds me of Jonghyun. Anyway He is really friendly, he adores his fans. He loves answering tweets. ( though he's never answered mine @@) He has his own YT channel so that he can keep up with his international fans. His videos are enjoyable and funny. He too comes from a well off family. He loves expensive stuff. He owns a macbook, beats, blackberry, own car, louis vuitton, gucci. He has tons of piercings and tattoos.

As for singing, he as a disticnt voice, normally after poppy he would sing the next line.

They have an arsenal of music videos I'll just post my favorites.

My overall thoughts: I really like the group. If you're a kpop lover well... they still aren't up to par with the K-pop standards. Singing, and dancing wise.  The Music video's quality is rather bad. They haven't quite reached the HQ OMG Hollywood level yet.

All i can say is they have potential. They are quite endearing. The music is very nice to listen to. I particularly like the the fusion of different languages. In one song they have 3-4. How cool is that?

Looks-wise they are pleasing to the eyes. HAHAHA.

So verdict: give it a go, you might like them.

It's been a while since I blogged, the truth to the matter is, i would not be here if not for this awesome movie. This started my whole THAI PHASE.

Synopsis:

Nam (Pimchanok Luevisetpaibool) is a bespectacled and dark-skinned 14-year-old ugly duckling secretly in love with Chon (Mario Maurer), her high school senior who also happens to be its most popular student. Over one summer, she ditches the spectacles and has her skin lightened. She is cast as Snow White in the school play and lands a spot as the leggy drum majorette leading the marching band.

My thoughts

This is one of the best movies I've seen so far. The simplicity and truthfulness of the story is what sets it apart from the rest. It calls to you, its a reminder of memories past and a reflection of the hidden truth in our hearts -- in short its OUR story.
 
Be honest, there was a time you were like NAM...

“All of us have someone who is hidden at the bottom of our heart. When we think of them, we will feel like ummm… always feel a little pain inside, but we still want to keep him. Even though I don’t know where he is today, what he is doing, but he is the one that makes me know this - a little thing called love.”

because I was, a very long time ago. The only difference is she got the guy at the end while I got my heart broken. Unrequited love will always remain unrequited, it will never have a happy ending! ( well, that's why this is a movie --- for things like this never happen in real life, oh how I wish it does)

Anyway kudos to the scriptwriter, who ever you are. You manage to poke the hearts and stab it at times. Also, to the casting director  ---- thank you for introducing to me, the most handsome thailand hottie next to Nickhun *appluase* Mario Maurer and thank you to this movie because it pave the way to my newest fixation thus i started blogging.

Next post, i shall introduce THAI POPand other amazing thai movies.

Im heartbroken, because being the stupid me... i was kicked out of a community i really loved. i had no idea that i forgot to little the comment.. when i figured out that was even mentioned it was way to late. i was not online for a couple of days coz. i was at work on Friday then come Saturday i was with my hardcore friends slept over and drank our to hearts content. i got home Sunday already. I dont think would be given a chance. It really my fault.

why haven't i noticed that comment before, i've already commented on her entries // stories but failed to see that why lord why???
